I'm an aspiring graphics artist, computer programmer and computer geek. I built these 'ego
pages' in my spare time as an exercise in the HTML language.
Amiga is my computer of choice because:
AmigaDos is tightly integrated into the windowing system. Windoze95/NT tries
to pretend that it's DOS doesn't exist.
Amiga offers a much better environment for people who actually know how to
use a computer. I'm not hobbled by a bloated OS that is trying to pander
to novices.
Windoze95/NT gets in the way of my creative processes.
O.K., off my soap box and onto the technical stuff.
I use an Amiga 4000 with 84MB ram and:
CyberStorm MkIII 68060 processor card running at 50MHz by Phase5.
CyberVision3/D video card by Phase5.
CyberGraphX video driver software.
Mag Innovision DX17-T 17 inch monitor.
ViewSonic PerfectSound 29 inch Multimedia Monitor
Western Digital 2.5 and 3.5 Gigabyte IDE harddrives.
24x SCSI CDRom.
IOMega SCSI 100MB external ZIP and 150MB Bournouli drive.
Hewlitt-Packard ScanJet 4P flatbed scanner.
The girl on the main page colorized with my custom color toolkit for
ImageFX.
The other image is montage portrait, I assembled and processed it with ImageFX.
The animated gifs were ray-traced in Cinema4D. I used
ImageFX to generate
texture maps, text and for post-production work. The final images were assembled
with WhirlGif.
